Choose an elevation-type transverse cutter by matching the paper or board, finished sheet format and handling requirements to the proposed machine. Yueda offers the FQN1200 and FQN1400 for paper and board applications. The model choice should follow your job specification, not a general expectation that the larger model is always more productive.
The FQN model comparison lists cutting widths of 1200 mm for FQN1200 and 1400 mm for FQN1400. Both list cutting lengths of 400–1300 mm, a grammage range of 60–500 g/m² and a stacking height of 1300 mm.
Prepare the smallest and largest intended formats, along with typical order quantities. Ask Yueda to confirm the permissible combinations and practical operating conditions for each job. A listed range is not evidence that every material performs identically throughout it.
Provide paper grade, grammage, coating or laminate structure, incoming roll diameter, core details and weight. Send representative samples when surface treatment or material variation could affect acceptance. The FQN material checklist organizes these inputs.
Do not assume that a paper cutter supports film, foil or textiles merely because they also arrive in rolls. If the job is printed-position cutting, specify the mark and required relationship between print and cut, then confirm the offered controls.
The table lists cutting speeds of 95 m/min and 90 m/min for the two models respectively. Those published values should not be treated as guaranteed saleable output on an unspecified job. Ask for a demonstration or trial using the intended material and format.
Agree sample selection and measurement of sheet dimensions, squareness and edge quality. Include stacking and transfer to the next process in the acceptance discussion. Record the trial conditions so competing proposals can be compared on a consistent basis.
Check machine dimensions, utility requirements, roll access and finished-stack handling against the workshop layout. Request a written list of included equipment, installation responsibilities, training, documentation and service arrangements.
The term elevation-type does not by itself confirm an adjustable cutting head or a specific automation feature. Ask for the actual layout and configuration details. Operator access, setup and maintenance must follow the supplier's documentation and site safety requirements.
